Job Title: Reproductive Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Nurse/Midwife to join our dedicated team at Viva Fertility Clinic. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional standards of care to our patients throughout their reproductive health journey. This full-time position requires a professional who is not only committed and empathetic but also possesses exceptional skills and brilliance in patient care within a clinical setting.
- Minimal qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or HND.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, holding a current license to practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in infertility or reproductive health.
- Knowledge of fertility treatments, protocols, and medications.
- Comfortable using basic technology, including desktop computers and smartphones.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients.
- Availability to work flexible hours.
- Additional certification in reproductive health is a plus.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of patients’ medical records and information.
- Prepare and assist in the smooth operation of the clinic, ensuring a high standard of nursing care.
- Schedule patients’ treatment cycles and liaise with doctors to arrange prescriptions and treatment plans.
- Perform basic patient assessments, venipuncture, and conduct pre-treatment consultations.
- Educate patients on self-administration of relevant medications.
- Assist with all types of ultrasound scans.
- Provide peri-operative care to patients.
- Assist in theatre procedures, including egg collections, embryo transfers, IUIs, etc.
- Prepare the theatre, manage stock orders for the recovery ward and theatre, and maintain the resuscitation trolley.
